The Middlesex Family YMCA invites the public to “Spring Ahead!” at its 18th annual Aerobathon & Spinathon from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 7. “This energizing community event does far more than get your heart pumping—your pledges directly support life‑changing YMCA programs,” a release stated. Funds will be raised to help local second graders learn lifesaving skills through Learn to Swim lessons and provide children with school supplies and clothing through Bright Beginnings, while also expanding access to Y membership and child care for families in need. Advance registration is required, and you can sign up by stopping by the Middlesex YMCA in person. For more information, contact Caitlin Griffin at 804-725‑1488, ext. 4007.
