Sidney Mittelman of Gloucester Point, passed away on June 13, 2017 at the age of 95.

He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Helen; four children, Michael, Karen, Charles, and Andrew; six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

He was a devoted father and family man who worked hard all his long life to care for his loved ones. He will be sorely missed.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 21, at 11 a.m. at Temple Sinai, 11620 Warwick Blvd., Newport News. Burial with military honors was held at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
