Senator Lynwood Lewis (D-Accomac) will have a public town hall for Mathews residents from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at the Mathews Family YMCA on Cricket Hill Road at Hudgins.

The senator will discuss this year's legislative session for the Virginia General Assembly, the final Budget Bill signed on Thursday, May 2, and the laws that will be enacted on July 1.

Questions about the upcoming campaign season--with primary elections on June 11 and the general election on Nov. 3--are permitted, as well.

The event is free and open to the public.
