Brandylane Publishers, Inc., and Fountain Bookstore have announced plans for the third annual RVA Booklovers’ Festival. This year’s event—RV(irtual)A Booklovers’ Festival—will be hosted on Hopin, an online event platform, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

The festival will feature books by authors of all genres from around the world, vendors of literary-inspired crafts and merchandise, and other events. The program will serve as an opportunity for isolated, international writers and readers to come together, share ideas, and celebrate their love of the written word while connecting with the greater bookish community. A children’s “stage,” a poetry “stage,” and a main “stage” will feature a variety of readings, panels and presentations.

This event is free and open to the public. Those interested in participating—either as an author, literary crafter or sponsor—are encouraged to apply through the RVA Booklovers’ Festival website (www.rvabookloversfestival.com).
