An opening reception for four festive art events will be held from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the Bay School Community Arts Center, 279 Main Street, Mathews. The four events are Deck the Walls, the Artist of the Month exhibit, the Holiday Pop-Up Market, and the Christmas Tree Pop-Up. Artwork in the Deck the Walls show is all hanging wall art that’s priced from $50–$100, said a press release. It includes small to medium hanging work, available just in time for the holidays. Northern Neck artist Jody Ball is the November Artist of the Month, said the release. She will have 10 of her fine art paintings on display. Her award-winning work includes landscapes, still lifes, and more in a variety of mediums. The Holiday Pop-Up Market showcases 12 artisan vendors whose work will remain set up throughout the season. Their spaces will regularly be refreshed with new art. The Christmas Tree Pop-Up includes artfully created Christmas trees in a variety of media. For more information, visit bayschoolarts....
