Rosewell names its new executive director

The Rosewell Foundation Board of Directors has announced that Elizabeth Judd of Williamsburg has been hired as its new executive director, according to board member Marilyn Iglesias.

Judd replaces Katrina White Brown, who resigned her position to pursue another career field, according to Iglesias.

Judd holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a master of arts degree culminating in a theses on Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his influence on art and architecture throughout Europe. Her prior research led to publication in the fields of art and photography.

Judd was curator and registrar of New York area museums, which involved all levels of museum management. She also developed and coordinated public outreach programs with schools and the community and has an extensive research background, Iglesias said.
