Roadside cleanups

The Gloucester Clean Community office now has family cleanup kits available, according to clean community coordinator Elisabeth Wilkins. You can keep your social distance from others, while doing a good thing with your family, she said. All equipment is sanitized, and you pick it up contact-free from the backyard of the Stewart Building on Main Street after noon on Fridays, or on Saturday mornings. The kits include sturdy trash bags, trash grabbers, safety vests, and report forms. The next kit pickup will be this Friday. Reserve your kit online at http://tinyurl.com/CleanGlo. Glendon Frick of the Piankatank Community League was picking up roadside debris this past weekend on Route 198 in Harcum. The league completed trash cleanups in separate small groups.
