Registration is underway for the Mathews Marathon and Half Marathon, which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15 starting and ending at the Put-In Creek Pavilion in Mathews Court House.

Early packet pickup will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at the pavilion. Check-in and packet pickup will be held from 6-7 a.m. on Saturday, with the races starting at 7.

The cost to participate is $75 for the full marathon; $50 for the half marathon. Prices will increase after Sept. 1. To help limit the contact between participants and volunteers, there will be no race-day registration. Pre-registration also allows the Mathews Outdoors Club, event sponsor, to purchase the correct sizes and numbers of race day swag.

All event participants will receive a commemorative hooded sweatshirt and finisher medal. Top finishers in the full and half marathons will be recognized along with age group categories for each event.
