RCC now accepting scholarship applications

Rappahannock Community College is accepting scholarship applications through Feb. 18 for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Any student planning to enroll at RCC in the coming year is encouraged to apply. Applicants simply complete one online application form to be considered for over 100 different scholarship awards.

RCC scholarships can be combined with federal and state financial aid or used alone to cover the cost of RCC tuition and fees. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is highly recommended in order to help match students with funding. Award criteria ranges from county of residence to program of study, number of credit hours and academic merit, community service, and others.

The average scholarship amount is $1,561, which represents approximately 30 percent of full-time tuition and fees, and even more if a student attends part-time.
