RAYMOND ALBERT WYCKOFF

Raymond Albert Wyckoff, age 91, of Hudgins, passed away peacefully at the Commonwealth Senior Living in Kilmarnock on Aug. 15, 2019.

Raymond was born on the family farm in Skillman, New Jersey. He graduated from Princeton High School and worked the family dairy farm. Raymond also operated his own school bus routes in Montgomery Township. He also worked for Plant Food Chemical Company serving the farmers of central New Jersey, and drove tractor-trailers for Berven Trucking.  

After retirement and moving to Redart, Raymond raised vegetables and chrysanthemums and shared them with the local community.

Ray was one of the founding members and a volunteer at Montgomery First Aid Squad in Belle Mead, New Jersey. He helped coordinate fundraising events for the squad, as well as being a volunteer fireman at Belle Mead Volunteer Fire Department #1, Unit 45. Ray enjoyed team bowling, baseball and after retirement fishing on the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Elizabeth and Helen; wife, E. Virginia Wyckoff (Plate).

Raymond is survived by his sons, Thomas (JoAnn Melusky) of Allentown, New Jersey, Frederick (wife, Donna) of Skillman, John of Ringoes, New Jersey; grandchildren, Kathleen, Raymond, Danielle, Erin, Robert, Cody, Kaylee, and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mason, Maya, Kai, Miranda and Connor.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the Blawenburg Church Cemetery in New Jersey on Thursday, Aug. 29, at 9:30 a.m.
