The Piankatank River Ladies Golf Association held a Best Ball Net Team competition on Aug. 4 at the Hartfield course. Winning teams were:
First place—Nancy Pannell, Kay Lloyd, Gail Thomasson and Donna Lange. Second place—Chrystal Welch, Vicki Gunn, Vicki Carr and Kayce Turner. Third place—Martha Wiggs, Lisa Lavery, Janice Phillips and Sally Austin.
