Print fundraising sale begins Friday

raiser for the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews. King, who passed away in July, was a long-time participant and supporter of the school’s programs.

“Celebrate the Spirit of Creativity,” a limited-edition print fundraising sale, begins Friday at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews.

It is one in a series of fundraising events being held by the Bay School in lieu of the annual auction, canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The sale will feature 250 numbered prints of an original watercolor, “Hanging with the Buoys,” by the late artist Martha Anne King. The cost of each 18” x 24” print is $75. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Bay School to support outreach programs and classes for both children and adult artists.
