The Piankatank River Golf Club held its Opening Day Tournament on March 4 at the Hartfield club. Winners were:First flight—Drew Pitts and Scott Payne (first place, 67), Joe Sibley and Mike Harris (second place, 67). Second flight—Dale Hudgins and Leroy Brown (first place, 72), Drew Hooper and Jason Dawson (second place, 74). Third flight—Jim Wright and Suzanne Wright (first place, 76), Vicky Gunn and Lynnette Sawyer (second place, 80). Closest to the Pin #5 hole—Vicky Gunn.
