Kayleigh Strader of Bena regularly attends Pet Story Time on Wednesdays at the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society Animal Shelter. With only one participant last Wednesday, Kayleigh climbed onto shelter volunteer Donna Schuck’s lap to hear the story “Cookie’s Week” by Cindy Ward and Tomie De Paola.
