Open house Tuesday for Alzheimer’s Association office

The public is invited to an open house Tuesday as the Alzheimer’s Association unveils its new Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck regional office in the Shops at Tidemill, 2084 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester Point.

The open house celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, according to a release from the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

“We are excited to open our new, larger office in the Shops at Tidemill,” said Marie Kolendo, Senior Executive Director of the Chapter. “We needed additional office space to more fully support the over 3,000 individuals living with Alzheimer’s and more than 6,000 caregivers in the Middle Peninsula/Northern Neck communities.”

The office will be used for Support Group meetings and individual care consultations. Community members should call 800-272-3900 to set up an appointment with a staff member.
