Nancy Leigh Hudson Strickland of Gloucester, peacefully passed away on Feb. 12, 2022 at the age of 71.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Lynne Leota, spouse, Michael; son, Benjamin Grant Strickland, spouse, Amy; brothers, Duval A. Hudson III and Jeffery Mark Hudson, spouse, Rose Ann; nieces, Emily and Rachel, and her best friend of 40 years, Pamela Ayres.

Nancy was a devoted mother, friend, teacher and Registered Nurse. All who knew her, knew she loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart, body and soul. She was a living example of faith and love. Her life was dedicated to caring for others through prayer, acts of kindness and her nursing skills.

Visitation will be held at World Outreach Worship Center in Newport News, Va., on Feb. 23, 2022 at 11 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11:30.
