The Mathews Historical Museum is taking orders through Monday for its corned beef soup takeout to be held Saturday, March 13 in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

In addition, members of the Mathews Woman’s Club will sell baked goods.

Soup orders for $10 include a quart of soup with cornbread. Orders may be placed by going to www.mathewsvamuseum.org, emailing mayfairemathews@gmail.com, or phoning 804-725-5117 and leaving name, phone number and number of quarts.

Deadline is Monday.

Pickups will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday March 13. In addition, the museum’s resale shop will be open and freshly cut sprays of pussy willows will be available.
