Morning Glory Baptist Church at Woods Cross Roads will mark its 138th anniversary on Sunday. The day will include a sermon at the 11 a.m. Holy Communion service by Pastor Donna Freeman titled “We are One,” and an address at the 3 p.m. service by the Rev. Dr. Robert A. Diggs Sr., pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Petersburg and a native of Mathews County. Music will be provided by the Gloucester-Mathews Men’s Chorus....
