Mobjack Tavern and That Damn Mary Brewing Company, both located in the former Goodfella’s restaurant, White Marsh, will be opening soon.

Though the two businesses are separate, their vision is to work together to become a place where the community can come to relax, enjoy good food and drink and have fun in a local atmosphere.

Local restaurateur Dean Tsamouras took over ownership of the former Goodfella’s in 2015 and always had a vision for opening a brewpub there. It wasn’t too long after that he met M.J. Anderson, who was a member of a local band that was performing at another restaurant he owns, Southwind Café in Mathews.

“We were talking about what I was going to do with the (Goodfella’s) building, and she said she was a brewer looking at opening a microbrewery in Middlesex,” Tsamouras said. “I told her, ‘I’ve got a better location for you.’”
