Middlesex Museum to hold ‘Step Back in Time with George Washington’ on Oct. 12

The Middlesex County Museum and Historical Society will present “Step Back in Time with George Washington” from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, at Rosegill Plantation on the Rappahannock River.
Historical interpreter Andrew Packett will portray Washington during the pivotal years between the French and Indian War and the dawn of the American Revolution.
During the program, the Museum Preservation Award will be presented to the Middlesex County Woman’s Club in recognition of their members’ work in preserving the Middlesex courthouse.
