Mathews fell to Lancaster in the season opener, 9-1, with the lone MHS goal scored by Salvador Cardenas. On Friday night, Mathews lost its second game on the road to the Rappahannock Raiders, 6-0. Mathews traveled to King William on Wednesday night and will host Northumberland on Friday.
