Mathews High School will hold a spring sports meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, in the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium. All eighth through 12th graders interested in trying out for a spring sport (JV and varsity baseball, softball, soccer, track, tennis and crew) and their parents are invited to attend.
The first practice of the 2023 spring season will be held on Monday, Feb. 20. All participants must have an up-to-date VHSL physical dated May 1, 2022 or after (last year’s physicals are invalid).
