The Mathews High School Scholastic Bowl team had an unbeaten record heading into last week, when the team fell to the visiting West Point Pointers. The MHS team will take part in the regional tournament on Saturday. Coached by MHS faculty member John Corrigan, team members include, from left, Toby Eskins, Riley Tripp, Felicity Hartlove, Josh Stillwagon, Grace Lewis, Emersyn Duff and Vic DeForge. The team honored its two senior members—Lewis and Duff—during its Jan. 16 contest against West Point.
