The Mathews High School boys’ cross country team finished its regular season last Wednesday, Oct. 20, at its home course, Beaverdam Park, undefeated with a 27-0 record.
The boys won last week’s meet against West Point, King William and Rappahannock (forfeit) with a team score of 19. Cameron Stearns came in first place with a time of 16:29. Seth James took second with a time of 18:31, followed by Carson Brown in third (18:39) and Dylan White in fourth (18:55).
