The Mathews High School Marching Blue Devils traveled to Williamsburg Saturday to compete in the Williamsburg Marching Band Showcase.

The MHS band gave a great performance, placing second in Music, first in Percussion, and second place overall among Class A schools (consisting of three bands).

The band will perform at home at 5:30 tonight, Thursday, Oct. 26, and will be recording that performance to submit for the VBODA State Assessment.

Next Friday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m., Senior Night will be celebrated with the final home performance of the 2023 Field Show, along with a side-by-side performance by the Marching Blue Devils and the Alumni Band.
