The Mathews High School band and cheerleading squad will perform at 6 p.m. next Friday, Sept. 30, on Ken Brown Field at MHS. The event is open to the public free of charge, with donations accepted to support the two programs.

The MHS band will also be taking orders for Spirit Wear at the event. The band will perform in its first competition at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Williamsburg.
