The Mathews County Resources Council will meet via Zoom at 9:15 a.m. next Thursday, May 20, with sign-in beginning at 9:05.
Laura Matthews, Manager of the Mathews Active Lifestyle Center and Coordinator for Meals On Wheels, will provide information about both aspects of programs for Mathews seniors (anyone over 60 years of age).
Lt. Sid Foster will provide information relative to the Mathews Triad. The 4-H will provide information pertaining to upcoming youth activities. Pam Doss, Kids Coalition Chairperson, will present the program for the summer representing activities from a variety of sources in Mathews, and Bette Dillehay, Mathews Memorial Library, will give the details on the multifaceted program to be presented at MML during the summer.
In addition, Taylor Miller, chair of the recently formed Unite Virginia Community at the request of Gov. Ralph Northam, is expected to join the group to learn about Mathews County and community, the release said.
