The Mathews Family YMCA is inviting the community to attend an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Mathews Y is located at 33 Cricket Hill Road, Hudgins.
A variety of activities are planned that day including tours of the facility, an explanation of how to gain 24-hour access, information about Y programs, group exercise demonstrations from 10:30-11 a.m., face-painting, snacks, free use of the gymnasium, strength training and cardiovascular areas.
The joining fee is waived until Sept. 15, and 50 percent off the fee through the rest of the month. A link to an interest form can be found at the Mathews Family YMCA’s Fall Open House event page on Facebook.
