Mathews runners remain undefeated

The Mathews High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams took another win at their Beaverdam Park meet last Wednesday, Sept. 28, leaving both teams undefeated so far for the season. Mathews faced King William, Middlesex and Westmoreland at the contest.

Seth James finished first overall with a time of 17:39. Crossing the finish line next for Mathews was Gavin Dustin finishing at 18:15, followed by Salvador Cardenas with a time of 18:33 and Jaxon McDonald with a time of 18:36.
