Jessica Patterson was top female in the Micro-Tri, finishing in 1:00:00.4.

Canaan Stowe took honors in the Spring Triathlon, winning in 1:04:39.6.

Darin Stiefvater won Saturday’s Mathews Outdoor Club Micro-Tri. He finished the event with a time of 49:05.4.

The Mathews Outdoor Club held triathlons with two distances on Saturdays, and enjoyed its largest turnout, 37 participants starting at Williams Wharf, in its annual series of competitions.

Christine Johnson of MOC said many of the competitors were in their first triathlon. The Micro-Tri included a 400-yard swim, 8-mile bike ride, and 2-mile run. Darin Stiefvater was overall winner among 26 racers in 49:05.4. Jessica Patterson was first female finisher in 1:00:00.4.

The Sprint Triathlon included 800-yard swim, 12-mile bike ride, and 5K run. Canaan Stowe was the first finisher of 11 racers, all male. He completed the course in 1:04:39.6.
