One coach, 16 athletes and two contributors will be added to the Mathews High School Hall of Fame at the 2024 induction ceremony, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 17, at the school’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium.

This year’s inductees include coach Steve Griffith, athletes Victor Sakellarios, Keith Whitehead, John Blencowe, Ben Hurst, Doug Sier, Will Holaday, Brent Haywood, Megan Morris Thacker, Ryan Collins, Brooke Moughon Paul, Garrett Fosdyck, Carl “CJ” Kelly, Mac-kenzie Moughon, Cody Kelly, James A. Pavik Jr. and Stuart Anderson Jr., and contributors John Lee Callis and Nelson Morris.

The event is open to the public, free of charge.
