The Mathews County Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held beginning at 11 a.m. sharp on Saturday, April 20, on the Historic Court Green in Mathews Court House.

The event is free and open to children aged three to 10, according to a press release. Costumes are welcome, and the Easter Bunny will be present for photos and hugs.

The eggs go fast, so come early, said the release, and bring your own basket and camera. The event will take place rain or shine.

The egg hunt is sponsored by the Tara M. Plotino Memorial Fund, Mathews County Visitor and Information Center, and Buz and Tammy Rollins.
