The Mathews Community Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Sunday, beginning at 5 p.m., on the court green beside the Mathews County School Board office.

The Mathews Visitor and Information Center has decorated the tree and there will be music by William Earl Sadler. The public is invited to celebrate the illumination.
