Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Gardens of Warwick Forest. She was born on May 6, 1936 in Mathews, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Virdie Smith, and her husband, Jack W. Soles Sr. She is survived by her children, Susan Rowe (David), Jack Soles Jr. (Susan), Becky Wroten, Jeffery Soles, Steven Soles, Kevin Soles, Jimmy Soles and Angie Haynes; grandchildren, Courtney, Casey (James Michael), Andrew (Mary Margaret), Jen (Cam), Jay, Beth, Allie, Steven Jr., Alice, Diana, Bobby and Austin; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Mackenzie, Jayla, Paul, Loreli, Uriah, Mario, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Finlay, Kylie, Kynson, and Cameron, and her beloved sister-in-law, Rose Hudgins.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Cobbs Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 1130, Mathews, Va. 23109 or to the Mathews Volunteer Rescue Squad, 94 Cricket Hill Road, Hudgins, Va. 23076. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews, is assisting the family.
