Local history talks on July 22, 29

The Gloucester Woman’s Club continues its July 2026 series of talks on local history, to be held at 7 p.m. on two successive Wednesdays, July 22 and 29, at Edgehill House, 6805 Main Street, Gloucester. Both talks are free and open to the public, but RSVP is requested. On July 22, the subject will be Daffodils, and the speaker will be Brent Heath, lifelong daffodil expert of Brent and Becky’s Bulbs. On July 29, historian Katy Gibson will discuss Robert Mush/Marsh, a Pamunkey Indian School student and soldier in the Continental Army. Gibson has studied Native Virginia tribes extensively and has served as the Pamunkey archivist.
