Thirteen local golfers competed in the 2022 Virginia State Golf Association Senior and Super Senior Women’s Amateur Championship held Aug. 8-12 at the historic Homestead Resort, Hot Springs.

Two clubs, Indian Creek Yacht Country Club and the Piankatank River Golf Course, tied for having the most participants from around the state. In all, there were over 100 participants.
