Big fish from the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic have qualified a number of local anglers for citations in the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament.

Jesse Rollins of Gloucester, 12-pound, 3-ounce blueline tilefish in Norfolk Canyon on June 26; Timothy L. Rollins of Hayes, 13-4 blueline tilefish in Norfolk Canyon on June 26; T. Lee Rollins of Hayes, 13-6 blueline tilefish in Norfolk Canyon on June 26; and Christopher Dunn of Hayes, 36-12 golden tilefish in Norfolk Canyon on June 26.

Also, Steven D. Callis of Mathews, 57” cobia caught and released June 24 in Baltimore Channel; Nathan C. Lowe of Mathews, 57-pound cobia caught June 24 in Baltimore Channel.

Also, William A. Horsley of Gloucester, 14-2 sheepshead caught July 3 in Chesapeake Bay; and Thomas S. Foster of Mathews, 11-5 sheepshead caught June 30 at Wolf Trap Light.
