Letter: Winebarger endorsed

We need some changes in the county for the future. First, we need to address runaway spending and hiring some more government people, more planning, staff people and administrators that get tens of thousands of dollars in raises while the working people get pennies.

When voting for a new supervisor for the Petsworth District, we need someone who is interested in the benefit of the people, all the people, not just a special interest group. Two people are running for the Petsworth District, one is Mike Jenkins, the other is Mike Winebarger.

It is my understanding that Mike Jenkins was on the Gloucester County School Board and that he voted to hire Mr. Kiser as Superintendent of Schools. He also voted to buy the wetlands for the new school, resulting in extra cost to prepare the land, which cost will be passed on to the Gloucester taxpayers.
