Letter: U.N. tentacles reaching into local communities

In response to the letter from David Evans (Aug. 25, "Coverage of Agenda 21 issue questioned") scoffing at the concern of local citizens confronting Agenda 21, I would suggest Mr. Evans do further investigation into the tentacles of the extreme environmentalist movement of the U.N. Known by any number of names in various developed countries, there is a concerted effort to sneak into your community, to take away your property rights, and to "help you make the right choices." Anyone who is not outraged, and frankly, scared, is either not informed or doesn’t love liberty! The truth is "You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality."

Resources abound. An Amazon search produces 346 books on Agenda 21. A good place to start is with the U.N.’s own publication, "Our Global Neighborhood," or even just the U.N. documentation on Agenda 21. Google "U.N. Agenda 21"&mdash...
