Letter: Study opportunities abound for GED test

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

In the latest edition of The Beehive and during the January Gloucester County Resource Council, I stated that the present GED test cycle would end in December 2011. I have been informed by Debbie Bergtholdt, GED administrator with the Virginia Department of Education, that the current cycle will not end this calendar year.

For many GED test takers, that is the good news! That means that if you have not met the criteria to receive your GED certificate, you have time to prepare and
take the tests.

There are various study opportunities in Gloucester County to prepare for your GED. If you are one of the adults in the community who needs to prepare for the GED tests, explore your study options. We in the adult education community are here to help you extend your educational opportunities.
