Letter: Smith for U.S. Senate

With Election Day on June 18, early voting has already begun. Recently I heard Chuck Smith speak passionately, knowledgably, and convincingly on what needs to be done to restore America’s greatness. I heard him speak several years ago; I liked his ideas then. But now, I believe he is ready to replace Tim Kaine and defend law and order, as well as champion our values.

Chuck joined the Marine Corps in 1970 during the Vietnam War; so, you know he has courage. We have several Senate candidates who have military service in their resumes. But Chuck is also a lawyer practicing Constitutional, Immigration and Military law.

He was a Navy JAG Commander with 26 years of combined service. Mr. Smith stands with law enforcement to enforce laws we already have. Chuck believes criminals need to be prosecuted with no more “catch and release” judges. Chuck has the legal expertise to stand shoulder to shoulder with all the other lawyers in D.C. to prosecute criminals and traitors—foreign and domes...
