Christchurch School senior Pierce Lambert has signed a letter of intent to play golf at Hampden-Sydney College next year. The son of Robin (CCS Class of 1994) and Buzz Lambert of Hartfield, Pierce Lambert is captain of the school’s golf team. The honor roll student also plays soccer and basketball, is a student ambassador and member of the singing group, Cantorion. As a junior, he tied for third place in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association VISAA Division II Golf Championship at Williamsburg National Golf Club and earned All-State honors. As a ninth grader, he was on the VISAA All-State team and qualified for the Division II state tournament, where he finished in second place and had a hole-in-one.
