My name is Jonathan Waldon, I serve as the Pastor for First Baptist Church Mathews. It is my pleasure to write to you about and my endorsement of candidate Melissa Mason who’s running for the Mathews County Board of Supervisors.
Melissa Mason is a strong, intelligent, well versed, and passionate leader that is concerned about the direction that Mathews is headed. She is filled with so much experience as she has served on various boards, community projects, and also religious engagements. She has served this county regarding the school board. She is interested in getting millennials involved with today’s decisions regarding the county and the direction that would affect all of Mathew County residents.
As a Pastor, the welfare of my members and the things they endure where they live is a concern of mine. Knowing that there are leaders on the local level with the same concern for citizens helps the overall plan that God has for His people. I believe th...
