Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I saw a comment that said “thankful people are happy people” and I absolutely agree. Gratitude is so important! We truly have so much to be thankful for. However, we don’t always stop and thank the One from whom all blessings come. I am thankful for a God that loves us even when we don’t deserve His love.

What a year we have had! This pandemic has left us all a little rattled. But I thank God for seeing us thru and taking care of me and my family. I am thankful for my husband; we may not always see things the same but we are there for each other. I am thankful for my children; they are one of my biggest blessings that God has given me. I am thankful for my grandkids; I can learn something new from them every day. I am thankful for my church family. We haven’t been able to worship as we once did. But we did what we could with drive-in service and online services.
