A notice placed in your March 10 church news was incorrect, stating that Pastor Gregory Woodard of Church of the Living Word is the overseer of Agape Vision Baptist Church in Foster, Virginia, Pastor Anthony C. Ellis. I want to make your readers aware that Agape Vision Baptist Church began and continues to be an independent ministry aimed at unchurched youth and baby boomers in the Mathews area. Pastor Anthony C. Ellis works continuously with many members of the clergy in the area and all have been instrumental in assisting and developing as well as uplifting God’s vision for Agape. While Pastor Woodard is the founder of Living Word, his relationship to Agape is in his association in ministry and friendship to both Pastor Ellis and his wife. Pastor Woodard holds no position in the ministry of Agape Vision.
