Just a few years ago, Gloucester County government was the laughingstock of the state based on the debacle generated by our board of supervisors. Thanks to a new board of supervisors that has the knowledge and background along with a commitment to the best interest of the county and its residents, the reputation of Gloucester has been restored.

The board hired a county administrator who has met a standard of administrative excellence that is the equal to any in the state. Added to this is a staff of government employees that has a commitment and dedication to serving our citizens. We are blessed with an outstanding combination of resources to provide for the education of our children, our public safety and a variety of other services, making Gloucester an outstanding community.
