Kraken sweeps doubleheader against Five Star Mafia

The Baystars Kraken baseball team took down the Five Star Mafia twice in a doubleheader on Saturday at Ark Park.

In the opening game, the Kraken bested the away team, 11-9. William Rousseau led the Kraken offensively going three-for-three at the plate. Easton Scott led the team in bases stolen, with five as the whole team recorded 16 in the game.Pitching for the Kraken in game one was Kaiden Williams and Duke Hamm. Hamm earned a game ball after pitching four relief innings.

The Kraken swept the doubleheader by besting the Mafia in the nightcap, 16-12. Rousseau once again led the Kraken recording a hit in three out of four at bats. He also recorded four of the team’s 20 stolen bases in the game.

Wesley Falkenberg earned the win for the Kraken in game one. Both Rousseau and Benjamin Patterson pitched relief.
