Kraken split doubleheader with Blasters

The Baystars Kraken baseball split a doubleheader with the Virginia Blasters on Saturday at Ark Park. After losing the first game 7-5 the Kraken were released in its dominant, 11-3, win over the traveling team.

In the first game, Benjamin Patterson recorded two runs scored while Kaiden Williams, William Rousseau, Easton Scott, Wesley Falkenberg all crossed home plate once. Rousseau went 2-for-2 in the game, with one hit being a home run. Rousseau also led the team in bases stolen with three of the team’s 12.

The scoring was high in the second game as the Kraken racked up 11 runs on the Golden Ball. Easton Scott led the Kraken offensively going 4-for-4 at the plate, recording three runs and stealing four bases. Conner Lee and William Rousseau scored twice while Benjamin Patterson, Bradley Price, Duke Hamm, Kaiden Williams recorded one run each.
