Kraken 11U team falls to Dominion Hitters

The Baystars Kraken 11U baseball team lost both games in a doubleheader Sunday against the Dominion Hitters at Gloucester’s Ark Park, 13-4 and 9-4.

In game one it was Kane Shager who started the game on the mound for the Kraken. He pitched almost four innings, with Conner Lee coming on in relief. Kaiden Williams and William Rousseau had two hits in the game. The runs were scored by Rousseau (two), Duke Hamm and Benjamin Patterson.

For the nightcap, Gage Mulcahy was the starting pitcher with Rousseau and Hamm pitching in relief. Mulcahy and Wesley Falkenberg had two hits each in the game and Williams had three stolen bases. Runs were scored by Mulcahy, Falkenberg and Williams with two each.

The Kraken will travel to Chesapeake this weekend to take part in the Halloween-themed Field of Screams tournament and costume contest.
