The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League played the Smithfield Packers this past weekend.

The Gloucester Red Knight Minis flag football team lost to the visiting Packers, 19-0. Jamere Wilson-Thomas, Landan Lopez, Hunter Seltzer and Adorian Lee all recorded multiple tackles in the game. Wilson-Thomas also led the team in rushing yards.

The Red Knight Mighty Mites also lost to the Packers, 13-0. Xavier Broughman led Gloucester’s defense with five tackles and one sack, forcing a fumble. Alijah Pluim had six tackles; Declan Schneider had four tackles and recovered a fumble; and Tyrell Daisy and Camden Pluim each had four tackles apiece. Offensively, Durrall Daisy had 49 rushing yards, followed by Tyrell with 33 yards and Lamar Frazier with 10 yards.
